Gli MTV Video Music Awards 2017 andranno in onda da Inglewood il prossimo 27 Agosto. MTV ha annunciato le nomination di quest’anno e siamo orgogliosi di comunicare che Wild Thoughts di DJ Khaled e Rihanna è nominata in ben tre categorie, tra cui Video of the Year.

Quella di quest’anno sarà la prima cerimonia di MTV in cui compare la nuova categoria Artist Of The Year che elimina definitivamente la divisione per genere.
Fa il suo debutto nell’edizione 2017 anche la categoria Best Fight Against the System che premierà il video che “ispira chi lo vede ad alzarsi ed a combattere per la giustizia”.
La votazione online è aperta ma riservata ai residenti negli Stati Uniti.
Lo scorso anno Rihanna è stata premiata da Drake per MTV con il prestigioso premio Video Vanguard Award: rivivi le quattro memorabili performance di Rihanna e il momento della consegna del premio.
